Halloween Dog Treats

Halloween dog treats are the perfect surprise when furry trick-or-treaters come knocking this month.

These little paws and bones are very easy to make and will delight both dogs and humans!

Halloween Dog Treats

Get the paw shape and mini bone silicone molds through K9Cakery.com. The molds do not require greasing. Mix up K9 Katie's peanut butter biscuit mix, and pour into the molds. Bake for 15 - 18 minutes at 350 degrees. Let the biscuits sit in the oven for 30 to 60 minutes to harden. Pop them out of their mold and let them cool.

To decorate, mix Fido's Frosting brand Royal Icing for Dogs. This sugar free yogurt dog treat icing dries hard and will not melt. It does not require refrigeration which makes it perfect as a treat to go. As you can see in the photo, it dries very shiny!

Orange, black, white and purple would be the Halloween colors to use. You can put a few treats into a plastic bag and tie it up with a Halloween themed ribbon for the perfect dog treat packaging.

Have a safe and happy Halloween!

P.S. If you have photos of your homemade dog treats for Halloween, we would love to feature your creations in this blog! Please make a comment for the post and upload your own photos.
